Hi, I’m Angela, enjoying my second career as an author and playwright.
Born in Grantham, I attended school in Newton Abbot before departing for a career in London. Majoring in IT in the 70s, exploring sales, marketing, training and communications along the way, I completed my first career managing major projects. I then embarked on my second career – writing. I wrote Lakeside while relaxing in California’s National Parks. I have since published three books in the Silveries Series: California Dreaming (a novella), The Silver Sting and The Silver Dollar, and also The Gypsy Killer. The fourth in the Silveries series, The Silver Dagger will be released in early Spring 2023. My stories draw on people I have come to care about and places I have known. The characters in my book have their own unique lives. They represent the richness and diversity of life. They are a part of me. I live in Stratford-upon-Avon and naturally love theatre. I now write plays as well as novels and short stories and have been known to ‘tread the boards’ in the theatre! In between times I make time to enjoy and entertain my family and friends, travel, and potter in my garden.

Amed Singh crosses continents to be schooled at St John’s College, a private school for boys. Built on the same land now occupied by Magnolia Court, the college closed in 1985. Old buildings harbour dark secrets. As the refurbishment of the last of the outbuildings draws to a close, Stan makes a startling discovery…
My Work
The characters in my novels are all very unique – some endearing, some amusing, some thoroughly hateful, but all extremely resourceful. It is they that drive a plot and it is they who win through in the end.

WAITING FOR THE NEXT IN THE SERIES An exciting and heart- warming tale echoing the sentiment that life doesn't stop with
retirement but can be an ongoing adventure. Once again, the experienced and resourceful elderly residents of Magnolia Court triumph, putting love and family values at the top of the agenda. I have enjoyed this book almost as much as I enjoyed The Sting and look forward to hopefully reading a follow up to find what Magnolia Court residents next get up to.

A MOST ENTERTAINING READ A really enjoyable book, and once
started, very hard to put down. The characters were developed in a
way that greatly added to the pleasure of this feel-good story. I'm
looking forward to Angela's next book!

moral tale of gaining justice and righting a wrong. Very clever writing
